People often complain that treadmills are boring. Well not any more!!

By offering you the chance to compete against yourself, your friends and finally the world, you will never tire of finding that extra motivation to get down to your gym to update your position and see your progress.

THE GOOD NEWS
  • Treadmills are designed to cushion your step and provide a far more forgiving surface to run on.
  • You are in control. Use the touch controls to speed up or slow down. Ask a fitness instructor to monitor your attempt.
  • Don’t worry if you are new to running. Walk first. Any time is acceptable for the challenge and you have plenty of time to beat your previous results.
  • By allowing you to measure your times over 1 miles, 2 miles, and 5 kilometres you are able to increase your distance over time in a safe environment.
  • If in doubt always ask a member of staff at your gym how to use the equipment. All users of equipment should be inducted properly by a qualified fitness instructor.
  • If you are concerned about the potential dangers of running ALWAYS consult with your GP for advice.
